
I came to City when the HR team was quite small and I've been a part of tremendous growth, huge accomplishments made by the team, internal growth for several of the team members, contributions that have had astounding impacts to the very core of City and a sense of pride that I've not had before.
I've grown, taken on more and new duties and responsibilities. I've been given an appropriate amount of autonomy to makes changes and implement new programs and my leadership team supports me fully.
The leadership team at City is so invested in the growth of our people and of the business. They acknowledge and reward contributions!
They are supportive, team member-focused, approachable and kind. They believe in doing everything possible (and within reason) to support the growth, development, health and wellbeing of the team.
The One Team Together mentality is rampant throughout the team and not only does everyone support each other, but they are fun, funny, energized and in it with me.
We've been through a lot of changes together as a team and part of the culture is very bonded by it - which is great because we all understand each other.
Seeing my co-workers and team, getting in many laughs throughout the day and the pace of work makes the days go by quickly. Not to mention I love what I do!
I am paid at or above the market rate for my position. The company reevaluates this annually and does the right thing when we lag the market. I know I will always be treated fairly with regard to pay.
The immediate vesting in the 401(k) is great! It shows the company cares about the people and their futures. I also appreciate that the HR team is constantly looking at rates across the company to make sure we stay competitive!
My team is made up of dedicated, hard working, true grit kind of people. We care about and enjoy each other, we support each other, encourage each other and show each other respect and compassion. BEST team I've worked on in my career.
It's a company full of really hard workers. In every department for every partner and every level of the company, we work, we work hard, and we work together. We appreciate and support each other - it doesn't get much better than that!
My team in particular are driven, have a sense of urgency, and as stressful as their jobs are, and they are very high volume, fast-paced roles, the team never quits. They are true ambassadors for City and represent the department with integrity and grit!
City evolves, in a good way. We never stand still or accept the norms as final. The leadership team encourages, and it's evident in the culture, personal growth, professional growth, engagement, innovation, and constant change. Change is good and there is never a dull moment!
The team is approachable, adaptable, supportive of new initiatives and innovation. They support the ideas brought forward and care deeply about activities and efforts that provide growth to the team, at every level. They are quick to give "props" and credit to those who make things happen.
The PTO we receive is generous and even though most don't use all the hours they are given, the senior leaders recognize the challenge to use them with our workload, and two years in a row the "use it or lose it" window has been extended !
That at the end of day I can say that I contributed and made an impact. My work directly supports the growth of City. The work myself and my team do is appreciated and acknowledged and is all about the people at City. My team makes me happy :)
When my team delivers, hits a goal, brings something to the table that impacts the people at City in a positive way. When my team is happy and motivated and they embrace each task with grit, a smile, and a never quit, one team mentality. I can't say enough about the job that brings me!
