Overall Mixpanel is a great company with a nice vision, but sometimes the execution is confusing. I would love to see more opportunities to grow and move up, but it's often impeded by headcount constraints even though we're already doing the work of that level. Hard to stay motivated sometimes.
The team is an incredible resource for any questions I have, as well as any projects I'm interested in pursuing.
The leadership team is very transparent and very accessible. They don't feel like static, untouchable overlords, but rather actual teammates that are ready to do work from the ground up along with their employees.
The culture is geared towards learning and improving. There's no air of ego, of thinking like everything is done and solved. There's always something to be innovated for the good of the company and team.
With so many changes across the the org and different department, I don't feel fairly compensated for my title, especially in this industry. These changes also disrupted promotional tracks. Nor do I feel like they keep up with inflation.
I enjoy that they put a lot of effort and emphasis on being available and open to their employees. From regularly scheduled AMAs to All-Hands and alway creating different channels of communication - there's definitely effort being put forward.
I enjoy my monthly WFH stipend that I can use for expenses like groceries or my internet bill. I also really love the wellness stipend that I'm able to use for my student loans and other health related expenses.
