The true embodiment of "employee-owned" at every level tends to reflect in the quality of work that I see at all levels. From the high tech systems to the hanging of white boards and more.
My leadership really does an excellent job of relying on the expertise and skills of the individuals below them. Rather than micromanaging, they empower us to push through the ideas that we think are best for mission success.
Not only are my teammates enjoyable to be around. But they are all willing to help no matter the lane of expertise that they tend to specialize in. It allows for a very open type communication amongst personnel. Which I feel ultimately serves to better guarantee total mission success.
I personally love the days where a new challenge is going to present itself. Whether that is when I take on a new task or when the workload gives the appearance of being "more than I can handle." The challenge of developing new tactics to tackle a problem are what keep me the happiest at work.
