Hopefully I am just getting a slow start and things will start to pick up for me in the coming months.
Very positive experience in my first 6 months of being here. The work is basically the same as the past 20 years of my career, but the managers and people seem SO much better. Policies and how Radiance wants to run this company are established and followed but able to be changed.
Little to no deductible, high 401k/ESOP
The level of 401k match
ESOP matching and Medical benefits
The willingness of senior staff to have open communication
The openness of how the programs and company are doing.
The friendliness of everyone in the company and the willingness to help out
All seem to be part of of the team not just individual devs
Open conversations about the work, not everyone seeming to be hesitant to say anything negative
The paycheck makes me the happiest at the current time. The work will come in time.
Not sure yet but I am in a limbo state at this point. Floating between projects but not really accomplishing anything.
Been on 4 teams and each are very easy to work with and help through issues. I don't feel ANY judgement when something isn't known
Employee ownership shows throughout the culture: Radiance success == employee success instead of company success may trickle down to employees if upper management thinks about it
Open, honest communication. Seems to treat employees as valuable to the company and not just someway to spend contract dollars (e.g. move and put people where ever, regardless to impact)
The open and honest communication from on high (CEO down). It's not just "We will handle it" or "everything is going great" but this is the issues, we're having these problems and we're working to solve them
I am in a limbo state at this point. I'm not doing what I was brought in the company to do yet (hopefully). I have been bounced around from project to project for the first couple months and didn't really get going on anything meaningful
