generally people are smart and effective. Post acquisition the culture definitely changing post acquisition, and more pressure is being applied to many people for not more comp, and work/life balance is suffering for many
i do enjoy much of the basic work i do. and generally my interactions with colleagues are good. there is a fair bit of snapping and defensiveness on some calls as the pressure on people shows
There is high level communication about goals and mission during the Town Halls, but not much visibility otherwise. There is a sense of 'family' at the individual brands, but still not much of that across the whole company
there is a general sense that we are helping people and that is a very good thing. There are some 'fun' things, but I think we need to focus more on those, and consistently reminding people there is life outside of work, and checking on that regularly. I've never once been asked about my work load
