How hard is it to get promoted at TravelCenters of America LLC?
It is easy to get into the management training program and be promoted to an entry level management position. Have to jump through hoops or really perform well above you peers in order to go any higher than that. Corporate positions seem to open up more often, but positions aren't guaranteed. Have seen many smart, young employees get ran ragged with a dangling carrot in front of their face.

I used to truly enjoy my job. Now I dread having to go to work daily.

Very rude, complainers, have to be reminded of job duties that they know but choose not to do.
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at TravelCenters of America?
Somewhat difficult. I work 10 hours a 5 days a week from 2pm-12:30am. At the moment I work Sunday-Thursday. I should have been able to rotate back to days a year ago but once again due to the lack of employees I am not allowed to do so.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining TravelCenters of America?
The lack of concern corporate has for each site and it’s employees.
