My company is not recognizing impotant issues and actions of a member of management had to use to keep her customers and staff safe from a previous employee who was an employee at the time of the incident

What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting with the customers has become the only thing that makes me happy
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our wages are not enough to pay our rents, our SmartPay incentive program doesn't work and most impotantly I do not feel that my company has my back
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our store has an amazing customer base. They are kind, polite and most have become regular customers and as a manager i feel it is my job to make them a priority.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
As a manager in training I feel obligated to stay longer than my schedualed shifts to get the necessary jobs completed because my coworkers stand behind the registers on their phones or sit in the bathroom on their phones and get nothing done
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
District and Regional managers need to hear all sides of an incident before making inaccurate judgements and they need to listen to their staff. My staff has to carry tazers on the person to feel safe at work and that is wrong and unacceptable
