I feel substantial raises are hard to come by. They want to retain talent and do a great job of making people feel appreciated with words and gestures, just not with compensation. This could be untrue in other areas of the company though.

The people make the culture, the implementation of rules and what not can be carried out in many ways, and Cumberlands makes it so that everyone understands whats going on. The executive leadership with wonderful and caring.

I believe Cumberland Farms should be more selective about it's hiring to only bring in the best contenders for the positions to be filled, and raise hourly rates to lower management positions or just convert to salary.
