Doing their jobs when they are meant to, not alienating new employees, not holding private information over employees heads, not placing blame on people who were clearly not in the wrong, not harassing employees, no passive aggressive attitudes, divide duties on shift / not put it on one person, etc

Appreciate their workers, actually pay their workers when they take their vacations days(especially when it's right before Christmas and you don't get a pay check) They only tell you what you did wrong never what you did right or how well anyone is doing. The worst people you could work for.

If the company would openly and transparently tell the employee what they are going to be making per hour. That the training would be more hands on instead of eight hours of corporate friendly videos which serve no one.

too is expected of retail workers in general in this country and although cumberland farms tried to make up the difference, it wasn't a consistent pay boost, it was an incentivised pay boost, so not everyone took it seriously and it would ruin it for the rest of us who depended on that extra cash

Having a two step interviewing process where you meet with the manager and the GSL or the district manager as well. Getting two separate view points of a new hire rather than relying solely on one person to make a good new hire.

I've never once spoken to someone from Human Resources, let alone met them. Former coworkers have tried reaching out about managerial issues and either played phone tag for weeks and gotten nowhere, or told "they're the manager, it's their store to do with as they please."
