
It's difficult to communicate with peers unless I'm being exceptionally friendly & outgoing. Plainly, it feels like this is something I will deal with as long as I'm a leader, forever lmao.
They understand that their position is just that - a position. They don't put themselves over others because of their job. They listen to people's ideas and utilize them, instead of being ego oriented and micromanaging. We work through problems.
Benefits are whatever as far as I'm concerned. After healthcare and/or childcare nothing else matters. Paywise, I'll probably be leaving Everbridge within a year because I know that I can get a 30-50K pay jump easily without riding out the promotion process.
Every company wants hyper-growth on par with Facebook/ Netflix/ etc. We won't do that while we're using waterfall. We've implemented 'Safe Agile' but 'Safe Agile' is just Waterfall dressed up pretending to be Agile. XP would be best, and solves multiple cultural, financial, and technical problems.
