What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The current team needs to better communicate the plans with the teams. There is no collaboration between teams from different geographies.

We don't magically get tons of customers overnight. Stop wanting to go fast without clear objectives, a clear plan, resources, ... That's not how it works.

Concentrate on retaining good staff rather than looking at new recruits/purchased companies. We are getting left behind and ignored. Far too much effort going into recruitment of new starters and not enough effort looking after existing staff who have taken Everbridge to where they are today.

Recognizing the work that their employees are ALREADY doing for them; appoint promotions appropriately, and provide at least some kind of assistance for everyone working from home during the pandemic. No stipend, no mental health days, no respite from the breakneck fire-drill requests.

Put more focus on their employees, and less on profit. Leadership is very out of touch - try to spend a day as one of us, or even better, get to know a few of us.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I had a clear promotion plan in 2021 and then my manager resigned and the leadership of our team changed and since then i have not been appreciated for the work i have done and no feedback has been provided when i asked what i should improve.

The cost of living has increased and my salary barely covers what I can afford in the State of Massachusetts. We need better pay to live.

What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is very helpful and ready to take on new projects. We do not have a supportive management and no clear communication on our development plans but the team is still powering through to the best of their capabilities.

We need to have collaborative meetings with other teams. Right now different teams under marketing work in silos.
