New store managers come in excited and closely working with the leadership team, but within 6 months they develop informal lines of communication that do not support team cohesion. Soon, they lose focus on the organization's vision and appear to no longer care.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Interviewer was personable during the process.

Accomplishing tasks! Making a difference.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They work well, as long as they as supervised. When the manager is not nearby, they tend to slow down considerably. Store Manager does not support hiring/discipline/firing recommendations of his senior managers.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Undervalued because changes come to us without explaination and without reasonable expectations for the time that it takes to implement them, I know compensation is tough, due to the state of the company, but consideration should be given to having people work up the ladder.
