The company is struggling financially and with endless shrimp the guest count has increased but sales has decreased by millions. The stsff suffers as they want less people scheduled to do more work. My managers work open-close many days. For 2 months we only had a GM who was overworked till he quit.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I wish we could have our gm back. He was great but seeked better opportunities and a quality of life. I hope corporate finds us a positive management team.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Tge people i work with are great. They work as a team and really come together when needed. Some of tge cooks are lazy and wait for tge managers to come cook yet tgey want a raise. Yet again, the endless shrimp is what is burning everyone out in the kitchen.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Corporate over works the staff in a post covid world where no one wants to work yet corporate is acting like a pre covid world. No benefits at all to get our butts kicked everyday and now we have to work thanksgiving snd christmas. It was tge only benefit left and we lost it.
