To me, as a researcher, being at Samsung is better than being in academia. I can carry out very exciting research and I have a better work-life balance and overall higher quality of life while impacting some of the biggest industries in the world

They care about safety and absolutely do not micro-manage!

There are some genuinely clever guys -- I learned a lot from them

I can just keep doing what I really like and what I am really good at
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love that I can do some really cool research and it has the potential to impact the semiconductor industry
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I wish they paid an overall higher salary than other companies in the area. Since there is no stock option, the overall compensation is not as good as many other companies where we could work.
