It is a good company but like a big ship and takes a while to change direction. Overall it is a great employer though there are a lot of ups and downs along the way like anything else in life.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It is not that you can make the most money but it is consistent. Raises are usually conservative but overall benefits are decent.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Some parts of the company have really high quality employees but in other parts you wonder how they managed to get hired here
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I think the leadership is more sales based which sometimes skews the decision making. Also they tend to look at everything with a Sales lens.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Balanced work life, in general people are nice. The German leadership and culture that pervades many parts of the company (even in places like the US) is what has kept me here for so long.
What did you like most about the interview process?
We always put people through a real life kind of case study which helps us understand how a candidate might fare in their job/role. I say that because our job description is quite fluid and can be quite ambiguous.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love our core software which is by far the best in the Industry and I am good at it. I love thinking and talking about business processes used across organizations in an effort to optimize and make them better.
