I've been here 27 years (less a year away). I've seen a LOT. I just go with the flow. I am on the backwards side of my journey.
What makes you most happy at work?
Accomplishing tasks that matter to me, the team, or my clients.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We manage to still care about the actual membership of our clients. And we all care DEEPLY about each other and that we each have great qualities as people and team members.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My manager is very good about listening and motivating. Most times she's motivating in ways that are 'hidden' in the most positive manner!!! Loie is amazing and I truly do NOT know how she does all that she does. Losing Chris Wilkinson absolutely deflated the IT team. Lois is great!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Ever since Zenith became owned by 'investors' our benefits have gone downhill. I even had an HR rep tell me at one time that the company doesn't 'have to' do anything for the employees. Needless to say, I (and many others) am not sad that person hasn't been employed with Zenith in a while.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Honestly, I have no clue. I only rated below 10 because I used the same rationale that's been used for reviews over the years. Somehow achieving a 5 (highest) is not possible and I'm to the point it doesn't matter any longer. I will be 65 this year. What do I have left, 5 years?
