Highly skilled. Good communicators. There is a good balance between overlapping and complementing knowledge and experience.

Treat people with more respect. Start appreciating people also did excellent work building the company before they themselves joined.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Just follow the market. Let those with local knowledge decide what is appropriate. Also recognise high performance teams, not force the bell curve on local managers by making them downgrade good performers to upgrade high performers.
