Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I don't have a compensation package so I don't even know what is it about?

All plans are good plans

Absolutely love the 401K match.

Its ok, i can work work with it, but i deserve more. I work to hard.

The 40% discount on wine and 50% off food at the restaurants on top of the monthly money on our employee cards

Being paid by-weekly helps me to save a little more

Being able to have health insurance

Great pay, full benefits, and great food for employees.

They feed us breakfast every morning and give 50% off food and 40% wine.

Review from Customer Success Dept

benefits to full time employees

Im able to have an insurance.

Compensation was fair for me as an employee.

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

With a scratch kitchen being as much work as it and as detailed as it is its pay matches your plain Jane steak house for half the work and half the pressure. Making the joys of cooking and hard work feel unrewarded.

I believe with my knowledge and background that I bring to Cooper's is more than other colleagues.

my value is determined based SOLELY on wine club performance. No other attribute of my character, service, or work ethic have been considered

Review from Customer Success Dept

Because coopers hawks management are unfair

The proper pay based off work performance And also not feeling like im discriminated

Pay is all over the place for new hires. There needs to be a standardized starting pay as well as raises based on tenure and cross-training.

If they treated everyone the same and should equal opportunity

Well i applied for bartender. Was told that all spots were fillled but thwy love me and wanted me to worl anyways bit as a server and when a spot comes available, with my experience and credentials, i could move up. Its a year plus later they moved people who never bartended before to bartender.

If my managers spent more time managing and Less time policing their employees

Equal pay and opportunity for employees.

Review from Sales Dept

This place is completely exploiting every team member as much as they see possible. It's 100% corporate and 0% humanitarian here.

I was told te reapply to start working and was told what i woyld maje instead of negotiating a pay rate. Is this because im dark skinned.... y cant i talk to human resourses

Women are paid less than men. What benefits? Cooper's Hawk likes to make everybody part time except for trainers and supervisors.

Pay for actual experience and very hard work

Review from Customer Support Dept

Because I seen lazy people get pay more than actually the people like work harder ,some time people that work less get more benefits and help from the managers

Review from Customer Success Dept

The manager is doing.drugs and is getting away with it over favoritism

Review from Customer Support Dept

If I were treated as a competent member of the team that I am and have shown, my compensation would match my hard work and effort to see the team thrive.

Review from Sales Dept

Give a 6 month review to your employees inspire them to become better Reward them let them know you appreciate them I left toxic environment to work here and I really hope I made a wise decision (58 E. Oak Street)

There is an absurd amount of favoritism and no matter how hard you work it is never good enough. Two prople make more then I do hourly because of their relationships with superiors which is not allowed in the first place. I have also been promised things that are never delivered.

Review from Sales Dept

As a tip based employee, precautions are taken even to prevent tip jars at the bar for events at our location.
