They seem to really care about you.
Willingness to listen to employee input
Consistency, compassion, caring, and committed!!!
communicative, approachable, supportive and problem solver
My direct supervisor is amazing. The highest management doesn't care about the average employee or our patients, just profits.
Strategy and leadership skills, and better engagement.
Hire experienced manager's who actually worked in the same type of business that you run.
Everything related to health care
Being human and willing to help
Very hateful with tons of micro management. Many unfrienly people there
Review from Customer Support Dept
fair pay for my job title
401k match and company's willingness to look into benefits that are helpful to the employees
health benefits cost savings per check
The pay and benefits are amazing!!
health insurance, 401k match, PTO
A yearly raise would be a start.
Better healthcare, dental, and 401K benefits. Wages that keep up with record inflation.
Review from IT Dept
With Bonuses we stay ahead of inflation. However with industry and company setbacks It is going to be a struggle.
No accountability from the leaders to acknowledge that they have terrible outdated systems and are harrassing existing members
The insurance is expensive and horrible coverage. Pay should be better for the employees in the branches who keep it running day to day.
They are all good people
My team is literally the only reason i work at Humana
great teamwork - everyone is in this to help patients
Collaboration and true team environment
not much, everyone is alone, no engaging, boss never around to help, etc.
Need to be friendlier and more helpful to newer employees
Review from Customer Support Dept
More meetings with the camera on.
DGO is full of themselves
They are intimidated and scared to express what they feel
Review from Customer Support Dept
Have a diverse team and a culture of family
They try to bring the positivity up
helping people is at the core of what we do
Being able to assist our members
team spirit band good leadership
the diversity and culture of the workplace
Listen to employees and put leaders in leadership roles. Require leadership training.
They need to clean house from middle management all the way and up to the board of directors.
Get rid rid of toxic buddy high school culture
Care more about the employees, hire a new leader team, HR should be more involved on how the employees are treated.
The mission and values speak of thriving, inclusion, and togetherness, but this is only if you agree with the direction of your leadership team. The company needs to ensure leaders are properly trained in its mission and values and can actually lead people in an engaging and servant leadership way.
The interview was awesome they really listened
It was pretty much average
The ability to interview with the management by zoom
My initial interview was great and the feedback from the HR representative during the process was amazing. However, for all subsequent transfers that I've put in for (didn't get), the communication has been awful. There has been no feedback which I believe internal candidates deserve.
Straight forward and honest. Manager set the expectations for the job in an honest manner.
Review from IT Dept
Hiring practices are convoluted and difficult to navigate. Done 100% remote.
Many internal candidates are never interviewed because HR recruiter selection which short changes candidates who may be benefit from networking, exposure to higher levels of leadership and constructive feedback to learn from the interview experience.
Most supervisors do know the interview process
An interview should not determine what you bring to the table.
During interviews ask about integrity.
knowing we have helped better patients lives
Being productive and helping members
Being able to work independently without too much intervention.
sense of belonging and accomplishment. Feeling appreciated and recognized
job satisfaction of helping someone in their healthcare journey
They need to have more ways to move up
This company is positioning itself to sell. Its been talked about for years and its price has never been lower
The company needs to shift from cutthroat solely results driven to a culture that is thriving together and actually inclusive and embracing diversity with a focus on delivery products and services that focus on the wellbeing of others.
Humana premiums are so expensive
They have been giving OT every day including weekends for 2 years. Employees health is deteriorating due to constant labor exploitation
Review from Customer Support Dept
My patients were wonderful but this can be found anywhere.
I enjoy my work and PTOs

Coworkers

Flexibility
Review from Operations Dept
Respect the healthcare staff, nursing staff. We work are butts off because we care and it saves Humana tons of money. SHOW APPRECIATION
Culture must be at company level and not at the team level. Humana gives lot of power to immediate managers and in circumstances where they are not truthful may hurt employees. Hire good managers and make sure, Humana's vision is applied at team level
