Abbott Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The benefits package here at Abbott is a top tier program and yet they continue to push programs that are above and beyond any other industry in the market.

Review from Operations Dept

Salary, benefits and stock options.

Review from Business Development Dept

Every year increment percentage based on your KPI achievement result

Flexible benefits, medical, staff discount, transport allowance are good.

Share option and flex allowance

stocks value is great asset

401K Match is substantial in my opinion. They also have a program to help pay off student loan debt.

Abbott matching my 401K contributions to a certain percentage and helping me further my account with the extra percentage allowable for older employees.

Incentive plan and LTI plan

The bonus opportunities are fair

Review from Sales Dept

Do not want to disclose

The pay is pretty good

The pay is above my expectation

Pension Plan offered from the company

Overall package is good. But the only issue is high incentive structure.

It is higher than market average.

Health care, staff purchase, optic and dental. Benefit

Roth IRA and turnover equity trading

Overall package is attactive for senior leaders

There is annual profit sharing and a pension.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Because getting less salary and no stock options

Higher compensation and meaningful work

Abbott is very conservative when it comes to compensation. For a Director role, they want someone who is currently a Sr. Director. From a compensation standpoint, they're under market.

Flexibility. Bonuses beyond management level.

They paid more to keep experts instead of paying more for executives with limited contribution

pay, structure of pay for benefits

Any pay increase less than inflation is a pay cut. The minimum pay increase should start at the inflation rate and increase dependent on performance

compensation should be based on work load

Better salary and appropriate trainings at the appropriate time.

I have consistently contributed across multiple teams, beyond expectations, and do more and higher quality work than colleagues. But am paid less. HR does s horrendous job "pricing" packages for jobs they gave no understanding of; similar jobs can end up in very different grades/ranges.

I feel like im being taken advantage of. Im 6 months pregnant and it seems like im the only one doing thw work. Doesnt seem fair. No matter how many times i complain nothing seems to get done.

Should pau according to the market and staff qualiry, instead of just the previous pay.

Review from Finance Dept

I think there is considerable mismatch between industry relevant compensation and what abbott offers. Need to bring it to market average

appreciation for work effort and additional resources to support the workload. Higher compensation and more time off

Pay more based on experience

Employee stock plan for retirement

Indont believe im getting paid fair at all

Abbott Leadership expects that employees call into meetings and complete work tasks while taking personal vacation. Work on weekends, to include Sundays, are expected of all functional team members to meet unrealistic program schedules. New parents are asked to forgo their time off for child care

The benefits are not a good fit in my profile, i dont have children or spouse so i only can use 1 benefit in the year

A raise of $100k because I work & treat my company as if I was the CEO or if I was the founder of the company, I work that hard
