Ms. Sandra Callahan, also known as Sandy, has been the Head of Group Insurance at Aetna Inc. since October 2013. Ms. Callahan leads strategy, operations and product development for Disability, Life and Long-Term Care Insurance. Prior to Aetna, she led Group Protection Operations for Lincoln Financial Group, where she was responsible for all risk, administration, claims and service operations for the Disability, Life, Dental, Vision and Voluntary/Worksite businesses. She held senior leadership roles with Jefferson Pilot, Guarantee Life Insurance Co. and Mutual of Omaha. As an active volunteer, she has held several board positions. She serves on the Women's Fund of Omaha board of directors. She is a Guest Faculty Member of the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. Ms. Callahan was an Adjunct Faculty Member at Creighton University's College of Business Administration.
