At the store level Aldi promotes the best, people who truly care about you, and understand how to run the store and ensure everyone including themselves does their fair share

Aldi expects a significantly higher standard of work than other retail operations, and they do pay above average. But the work expectations still far exceed the compensation. They expect 10x the work for 1.5x the lay of other retail companies
