ALDI USA Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

My store manager is the antithesis of what Aldi has turned into. He cares deeply about the team and understands the value they bring

Posted a month ago

My immediate manager is the best. Without her, our store would completely crumble.

Leadership team is fine but sometimes hands are tied.

Supportive and have your best interest

They solve problems quickly and effeciently

The leadership team takes the time to support each and every staff member

Review from Operations Dept

Communicative, cooperative, mentorship, room for growth

Review from Sales Dept

My dm is amazing. She is empathetic and very clearly takes actions to make sure we have what we need at the store. She definitely cares about her employees.

I'm not sure about this question. I love my co-workers. As far as having leadership above me goes.. no one has your own back they only have their own backs. They don't make sure you get proper traing before throwing you kn the floor and they choose promotions based off people liked, not when earned.

Work well with you on the sales floor and merchandising. Knew the customers and they made the customers feel like family. Great manager at store level. District managers should take note from that type of management.

They are very energized and passionate.

Great support and forward looking

We really work well together as a team.

At the store level Aldi promotes the best, people who truly care about you, and understand how to run the store and ensure everyone including themselves does their fair share

Review from Sales Dept

Manager is Organize and efficient

They're polite to your face.

Im the best leader better leader than my store manager

Easygoing and able to go to with problems

Possitive and driven. Passion and great enery

That 60% of the team it is a team environment.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Giving stores more labor hours so they can make the stores better for customers to shop at. So they are better stocked and cleaner.

Visit corporate employees like they do store employees. Appear very out of touch.

Time management is a crisis in this establishment. Do better.

Not being bias to people that have been with the company longer. Just because someone has been a cashier for 12 years doesn’t make them more qualified than a store associate. I think my managers are clicky and the way I’m being treated is similar to high school. It’s political not based off r

Leading and being a role model instead of talking down to co workers

Promoting people with more experience.

The company needs to get better at training development of their leaders and communication.

Following the employee handbook and listening to corporate, when it comes to certain situations rather than taking matters into their own hands

listening to employee suggestions, scheduling, staff retention, less favoritism.

Communication with store employees both former and current.

Have relevant work experience in that field, educated or going back to school to be educated in area. Listen to their staff who get shut down for their ideas.

Quitting patting themself onthe back and remember its a tesm Effort

Review from Customer Success Dept

Rules all employees follow not just the few who are not. On the buddy system with assistant manger on duty my assistant manager smokes cigs out the back on the dock it physically makes me ill

They need to work on the way they talk to their employees.

Listen to your dang associates

Actually having an assistant manager that shows up to work on time so other employees can get into the store to work

Listening and working with staff

District managers were mean. They made fun of employees who were slow to other staff members. They actively encouraged management to bulky associates just to get them to move faster. They told us we need to be mean about people calling off sick during a pandemic borderline forcing people to come in.

Treating people like people not numbers

Review from Sales Dept

Communication is terrible. The people who don't actually work in the stores have no concept of the difficulties that the employees go through.
