ALDI USA Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

The interview process was ok, but a bit overwhelming with multiple interviews in one day, plus they made me do a physical test. All in one day

The friendliness intially and flexibility

Jesse the district manager at the time took time to answer all the questions that I had and explain the job detail to me in full and ensure that it will be something that I feel comfortable and confident with doing if offered the position he offered and I accepted that was December 2022

Very straight forward. Though was rather lengthy and the second one was honestly of no value. At least from my perspective.

Everyone was nice. They use STAR format so it is not a hard interview

The online test before interview

Pleasant relaxed conversation. But that's an interview over 5 years ago.

Meeting the boss and the team

The thoroughness of it all and being able to meet many different people in leadership.

Intense, but well worth kt

I've worked for this company for almost 4 years I'll just say this though I was not originally hired and I am one of the best associates at my location

The DM was nice. He made the company seem decent however I wish I knew then what I do now

The positive people interviewing me.

Review from Sales Dept

Being able to meet and talk to upper management and being treated like an equal part of the team.

Review from Operations Dept

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Better job descriptions, currently very generic.

One on one, not group interviews with group tours.

Stop hiring DMs right out of college and start hiring based on experience.

More honesty, very clear, no lies, when yhey offered me the job they were very deceving. They promised more then what I bargged for.

Nothing at all because I would not recommend this job to anyone.

Reality. Let them know its going to be hard work. Pay them for that.

District Managers not store managers control the interview and hiring process. I would allow managers more control over it because they work in the environment they are hiring for.

Review from Customer Support Dept
