friendly employees. consumer benefit for value
Bonding with customers, my coworkers, and of course not being scheduled to work. They're far from perfect, but I respect them. They work hard and do their best everyday. Even if Aldi doesn't respect or value me as a person, many of the people in my store do. That has to count for something.
I am lucky to have a very approachable and kind store manager who is willing to listen to all of my complaints and concerns, and who actually shows a level of care about me as a person rather than just another worker.

Performance based promotions need to be mandatory. Enough of the "seniority" based promotions, or as i call it, favoritism.

The management and the way they approach their staff
Are you kidding? Inflation raise roughly 2-3% per year. Your pay has not. Bonuses are a Joke & they know it. A raise is forever, bonus are temporary. U should be $2 per hour over every other company out there to get good help. Greed is this company's undoing. MULTI-BILLION company worth!
Upper management should focus on telling us what we do good on not blame us for their mistakes or criticism on why something was not done when we werent given the time to do what ever the task was.we try so hard and get no appreciation.

Aldi does not back/empower its employees. Aldi does not represent its rules/requirements (ie: plays both ends from the middle). If you hire me, trust me. If you make a rule, stick to it and explain this to customer (ie: dont throw employee under the bus).
