No raise in 3 years for long term employees! No bonus for assistant managers last year! Most other place hire at $15 an hour. We can't get good workers when we start at $14. Curbside is the biggest mistake this company has ever made. We now work with 1 less person with the same amount of work.

Reality. Let them know its going to be hard work. Pay them for that.

Knowing that they are dependable. They are the glue that keeps this company going but are under appreciated on a daily basis.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Experienced workers understand how it used to be before curbside. The job was doable then. Seasoned workers know how to work hard. New worker don't want to work hard. Poor hiring pool due to poor pay and compensation. Be leaders again. Give more, you are a MULTI-BILLION dollar company.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Are you kidding? Inflation raise roughly 2-3% per year. Your pay has not. Bonuses are a Joke & they know it. A raise is forever, bonus are temporary. U should be $2 per hour over every other company out there to get good help. Greed is this company's undoing. MULTI-BILLION company worth!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Nothing. Its all smoke and mirrors. Every "good" thing they do for us saves them money if you really look at all the angles. Biggest lie I ever heard was "we only make about 1 penny after cost on every item sold". Well, umm raise the cost on every item by 1 penny and you'll make 100% more profit.
