Allstate Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

The management and team member s you meet with are generally receptive and curious to hear more about you

Felt like they cared about me

When i interviewed with Allstate or American Heritage, the company was being run by executives in Jacksonville and all customer service was out of Jacsonville. As a senior sales condultant, i was able to interact with any of these people as needed which created a wonderful working atmosphere for all

Review from Sales Dept

It was a long time ago I don't remember

Review from Customer Support Dept

Easy questions its like initial interview

Getting to meet several people that I'd be working with and understanding if it would be a good personality fit.

The ability to speak to multiple people around the work to better understand if the team personalities would be a good fit for me personally

I liked the in person interviews, the digital recording for interviews is not sufficient and not personal. It's hard to recruit talent or gauge an employer without that interaction aspect.

Review from Operations Dept

The manager that conducted the interview was very polite and down the earth. Easy to talk with.

It was a quick and easy process

Review from Sales Dept

I was nervous and repeated myself a few times but the interviewer was so sweet.

Easy, they just ask the typical questions everyome else asks.

Fast feedback didnt have to wait long for process

I knew what to expect and it was efficient

Well organized questions and looks at the past experience

Review from IT Dept

Ability to understand the technology

It wasnt very snooty or stuffy in the Zoom room. Just a very relaxed, everyday approach to learning who I am and what my skills are.

meeting the people I'd be working with

i dont like anything about interviews

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Interview people who are qualified. If they dont get the job, tell them why.

Not sure they should tell people that there going into a job that is a joke

Quit asking me if I am a minority.

Only BDI questions which anyone can lie about. No one cares what you do/did and if you don't have a specific example for the incredibly specific question, you're screwed

Follow up with candidates on a timely basis and keep them informed along the way.

MAKE MORE DEVOUT BROTHERS OTHERWISE WE WILL NOT SURVIVE THE STORM OF THE VAST BUSINESS HELLSCAPE WE ENDURE EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Review from Marketing Dept

Better transparency and willingness to negotiate

Review from Operations Dept

I think make it more effective and screening the team and better technology

Make the process only one day long. It’s a lot more effective. There is no reason it should take 2-3 weeks to interview.

Review from Sales Dept

Shorten the period of time between interviews.

Review from Operations Dept

Make sure the recruiters have all information or can reply in a timely manner
