How challenged are you at Amazon?

(As a designer) Not at all. They're pretty risk averse, only make teeny tiny changes, dipping toes into the water with some A/B testing, and then pulling out if it doesn't perform better. It gets them good results, but I think there's a false positive that a hundred individual successes equals one better website for example. In any case, you will not work on big innovations, or solve hard problems. The hardest problems for you will be removing institutional barriers to try out a solution.

We are challenged to think outside of the box to help the customers so while some contacts are easy, others require creative thinking.
