Give people an incentive to stay. Like employee outings and employee of the month rewards
Hiring the correct amount of kitchen staff . There's a high rate of burnout in the employees that actually do the job of 2-4 employees. People might stay at this job if they weren't juggling 3 stations all while trying to keep dishes on the line. This is exhausting after a couple of hours!
Lots of employees get off easy by managers, never recieving the proper consequences for not doing their jobs or disappearing on the spot or leaving early due to seniority.

not making people wait 30 minutes for an interview. if you schedule the time you should be prepared.
I went thru 3 interviews plus my sister talking to them to get me a job. I applied for prep. Thai didn't think I had wat it took to b prep considering I had zero kitchen experience. I ended up knowing all 3 cooking station gu and prep in less then a yr at applebees
Not having a fake manager hiring only hot women because she's lesbian and keeping those employees when they don't contribute as a team or at all they're lazy!
Have better managers on deck, helping more, caring more and being a lot more sanitary than ever. There has been multiple times where management has managed/transferee food with their bare hands, disregarded wear gloves for sanitary reasons.
Lack of compitent management, putting a good face when higher ups are in building.

The management team at my applebee's is a joke. they get paid to bully.
By taking care of good employees which interns takes care of good customers which interns makes a company thrive
Managers aren't helping ensure that staff and guest are taken care of
Get away from bottom tiered guests, or at least embrace it. Stop trying to be a high class brand with sub par offerings. Pick a lane and stick to it. If we're going to embrace getting the trashy guests in, go all out. Then I'll at least know its time to leave.
