Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Unsure, it seems like they don't have any impact on day to day.

Posted 21 days ago

Honesty, transparency, strategic, and visionary

The agility & leadership vision

No idea yet but hope they are good

Culture is clearly important. Goes far.

Leadership is willing to receive and give feedback in a manner that is respectable.

The process they use consistently

Looks out for yoyr best interest and creates open spaces to come to them

My team is the best

Easy to approach, and responsive

Diverse group of people within

it supports but doesn't try to micro-manage the investment consulting practice.

They treat people at all levels of the organization with respect

Review from Sales Dept

I like that they soens time teaching us

Open and honest professional and secure.

Communication wholesome and desication to meet

Review from Sales Dept

Training and help is good.

They listen to what i have yo say

Transparency in communication and industry experience

They communicate important news frequently and model the company values.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Transparency, actually being transparent, not just talking about it.

Demonstrate behaviors themselves what they expect from staff.

Transparency. Responsibility. Integrity. Ethics. Diversity.

Learning what the market wants. Let go of the old ways; embrace progressive ideas regarding attracting and retaining talent.

Everything. There are people who have been with the company 10, 20, 30 and more years and have had a handful of raises in that time. There is no real incentive to work hard when you are treated like a dog and having constant turnover because people see how bad it is. Too many E&O exposures.

Pointing the right person to the right job

They know what they want and that is what they want. Social progress is not in much of the company and just where they identify with or new group they can tie their name too. Many don't seem to care. It is s a job they get paid well for.

Listening to employees would make a large impact in company culture and employee morale

Honestly management is rarely in the office. I have seen my manager stop by the office maybe 3 times over the last 3 months.

They need leadership training, learning how to talk to employees, what isn't allowed to be said, how to give feedback, how to take feedback, and how to adhere to labor laws.

Stop the screaming and swearing at people

Leadership has a hard time communicating who has jurisdiction over a market.

Pay both attention and fair compensation ...the present one doesn't count for any scope of savings... It's an Hand to mouth salary.

If value signaling was a Olympic sport they would get a gold. I have no clue how they get ethics awards. These awards must be corrupt. Which is ironic.

Review from IT Dept

keep their word when they promise to deliver just as they expect the same from the employee

Review from Sales Dept

Pay more attention to employee morale and work environment.

Review from Sales Dept

Communication! It would be beneficial to hold ‘townhall’ meetings frequently. Also to see them more often. They seem to live in their tower and never see them with the people.

Review from Sales Dept

Most processes are outdated and extremely inefficient but since management has been here for 10+ years in their same positions, they are very resistant to change, even when shown it will be more beneficial and efficient. Additionally, more flexibility is needed (option to work from home).
