Ashley Furniture Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Nothing positive nothing good ever

Professionalism Integrity sociable friendship knowledge

Review from Customer Support Dept

the most positive thing is looking at beautiful furniture and helping the customer.

Just everyone getting along together

Employee interactions and feedback from employees.

Welcomed feedback, and transparency are definitely key.

The people that i work with

PTO ,lunch breaks and payday

Being able to transfer to different positions. Some trainers have the right to be a trainer others need to do better. Benefits instead of bank hours go back to old way 3 strikes

I just wanna get paid

Leaving after a very long day of working intense pace and micro-manager scrutiny to the point that you are required to account for every minute of every day worked! So glad to be out of that crazy dysfunctional workplace.

My team gets along for the most part

we support each other during tough times

Review from Sales Dept

Its not overly competitive . I have a positve and helpful team

Everyone wants to make this a better place.

My team we support each other

The constant investment in new technology, training and long term planning

I see Alot of people caring about their jobs

Lunch break and quitting time

The most positive aspect about the company culture is the commitment to diverse perspectives.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Better communication, respect for co-workers

Managers They are nit qualified at all I feel like this company doesn't know what's going on inside of store managmnent and also the human resources .

Improve the quality of the furniture so that people are proud to work there. Give some of the company stock to employees esop.

Get rid of higher ups that don't care about employees, or who gets hired. Do background check and make drug screen.

It's all about the money. They could care less about anything else.

Leadership has been there too long, they feel like the rank and file are nothing more than a number, nothing more than a piece of meat.

Management, and self respect for others

Hire people that know what there doin

Treat your workers better & stop making them work like animals

Review from Sales Dept

Communication, clear direction, employee input, appreciation, additional hired staff to support workload, incentives and equitable pay.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Need good honest communication and fair treatment.

There needs to be less push on the company's salespeople. Push and goals are expected, but even when we meet these goals, we are often told we still didn't do enough. This is why I believe the company has little to no value or respect for us.

A better balance for everyone

Better leadership, someone who is professional and doesn't take things personal. If one employee misses work or faults in some way the supervisor then takes it personal and makes that individual stay at the warehouse so they can only get 8 hours and no incentive. So it affects pay, bills unpaid.

Need to pay emloyees more and recognize the workers ghat do the manual labor and not the ones who just make them money.

Pay their workers, train their workers

The company needs to start selling better quality at fairer prices, honor the customers contracts and generally be honest, versus trying to lie and xheat customers.

Honor associates' commitment, compensate written sales, not deliverables unobtainable by associate, management interpersonal assets to include TEAM, employee EQUALITY, not equity, treatment

Managment. Hiring process. Stronger background checks.

Better employees. Better management. All around a better staff
