Ashley Furniture Team Employee Reviews

What are some of the best things about your team?

Always helping each others as best they can do

Review from Customer Support Dept

Some of the employees (bay guys)are great and work hard. Unfortunately they are over looked by most of the company and are forced to stand in freezing temperatures while the shop and management team sit comfy in reclining chairs in climate controlled boxes demanding more get done for their bonuses

Review from Operations Dept

The improvement communication. Sense of urgency when facing customer's needs.

Everyone is willing to learn new things and work together effectively.

Well 1st thing everybody works differently but for the most part we the delivery team all get along with each other

Review from Operations Dept

Great people that aren't easily brainwashed.

The people who work tbere are solid other than managment and leadership.

Paul and fred were pretty awesome. DB and Mike Roberson best supervisors ive ever had

I love my team and I will miss them all. The managers not so much, especially the regional managers. They have no idea how to relate or be compassionate to their employees.

Highly skilled in communcation and excellent in team building

Review from Operations Dept

teamwork, efficiency in the process, good atmosphere

That they dont help & there in a rush

Review from Sales Dept

We wanted our store to look great and be profitable.

They let me do my job.

We work together and help one another

There's nothing good about the team that I work with. because nobody works together or to help each other.

we all get along and look forward to working together

They are for the team and uplift each other

Supportive, vocal, assertive, caring, respectful and understanding.

Friendliness and willingness to understand each other and cooperate. They are some great coworkers, and connections I will keep going into my next job.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Transparencies. Maybe answer the phone

Just being fair and respectful

Not being so spoiled by not being made to work when others work and ithers stand around on ohones.

Start at the top with corporates ridiculous expectations and filter down to managers and those in positions below them.Rhe company culture is toxic

The general atmosphere was negative and that trickled down to all workers

Sober up. Have empathy as a team. Be on time. Bathe. Brush your teeth. Quit brown nosing.

Job lead learn to be a leader .instead of to much drama ,doesn't say anything about job its all about the supervisor saying this that others didn't care had nothing to do with job.stop being so judgemental ,especially when they don't nothing about a person. Rules & policies are everyone

Actually treat me like a human and not a delicate young girl

Value your diversity of thought and support each other, even those that you don't agree with all the time. Stop looking for ways to scapegoat employees that are junior to you. Truly accept your responsibility to lead, whatever the outcome.

Less aggression and more problem solving skills

Some of the team seems to be alright ... but the place has too many chiefs, and not enough Indians

How to treat other people. Specifically black people

Review from Sales Dept

Stop working in silos and start working collectively as a team.

if we had more pepole we have a small 10-15 man team in a warehouse that needs 100 people at full speed not 15 at full speed

Set teams, because not everyone works well with each other. Some people work bad because they lack respect for the driver or helper they are with. And some people think it's OK to make other people carry excessive weight alone just because they can.

I work alone and the manager does little to nothing

Do their job. Like they were hired to do.

Toxic. Sales driven and power hungry. We have an up system and general workers mess with and blame workers they see as potential targets.

Union representation would be a start

We could work better together if we were informed better about how many pieces we need to run. They give us a number in the morning that is manageale then change it to more throughout the day. We are tired and burnt out. We slow down toward the end from exhaustion and still have to keep running.
