There are many skills that are required to work within the support position that put the skill level needed at the level of admins. The pay is still beneath the average of the Ann Arbor area.

I don't feel undervalued but rather the financial compensations don't match inflation we are having here. Furthermore, Headhunters offers at least 30% to 40% more salary than then one we have. The only thing that keeps me in, is that I'm satisfied with the tasks and people I work with.

The ACR is at the whims of the leadership. Real performance is not counted. No bonus component and stock options are as good as nothing & they doesn't give sense of ownership. Even salaries for existing employees are way off from market and new hires are paid more. disparity in pay is discouraging
