Their stated culture sounds great, but it is rarely actually lived out at the individual stores. Too much stress on credit card sales has taken over what was once a fun place to work.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company feeds us on holidays or special occasions.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Company gives out bonuses occasionally. They offer "bounties" if I sell extended warranties, etc.
What did you like most about the interview process?
They approached me for the job, so I didn't really have to do formal interview.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Have care, concern and compassion for the employees and the customers. Not push sales numbers for credit card so hard.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Need to have the skills necessary for their position (not organized, unable to delegate, unable to prioritize, unable to follow up with customers or co-workers in a timely manner, micro-manage too much)
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
There is too much "high school" drama at the store (including management). Top managers in the store are either narcissistic or incompetent. If someone is hired in a top management position and they are incompetent the company keeps them for at least 2 or 3 years before they fire them.
