Best Buy Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

Not the same now, but years ago it was good

Review from Sales Dept

Clear and open communication about when/if you will get the job and post interview clear and open guidence on start dates/expectations

The manager was challenging enough

Review from Sales Dept

Fast easy process from start

Review from Product Dept

Applied on line and went in and had a person interview

Review from Sales Dept

Its a video interview whwre they ask you a few questions but tbh if you cant do the interview than you shoudlnt work here so its a good filter

Easy and interactive. Everything is automated

Honesty and trustworthy were the key. To this day, they did not lie about what to expect and that made me feel comfortable

The interview was relaxed but professional. Overall great experience.

The interviewers made sure you were comfortable

It was very welcoming, had a basic behavior assessment, applied online and received a phone call, scheduled an interview and they got to know a bit about me over the phone first, had an interview with an exemplary sales leader, then later received a welcome call and for when to show up

Interviewing for positions within the company is much easier and less stressful than applying online.

I enjoyed the online aspect, everything about applying up to the actual interview phase itself is all super easy, and during the interview they ask you questions meant to teach at the same time.

Was with a panel of my potential future peers

Centered around personality and cultural fit, along with the willingness to learn and work hard. It was made clear that leadership would train me in what I needed to learn, the focus is in making sure that people want to make a difference

The interview process is more like a casual talk.

Super quick interview process with the recruiter

Review from Marketing Dept

Review from Customer Support Dept

Be more careful. And screen better people

Review from Operations Dept

Pre written questions are no way to learn about people

Review from Sales Dept

It is simply too personal, and most interviews are.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Don’t coach people before the interview because you want them to have the job. Give everyone a fair chance!

Review from Sales Dept

Group interview, more background check

Review from Sales Dept

Hire nicer people to work there
