Nothing was overhyped in the interview that doesn't continue to ring true as an employee
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People are often recognized in meetings and Slack channels for accomplishments and good reviews- you'll see this on a daily basis
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Very transparent and honest about all changes to anything within the company. They listen to us and actually take action on anything mentioned on surveys.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone roots for one another- there's room for everyone to grow in their role and level up if they want or when they're ready. You can feel that everyone genuinely wants you to succeed.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
In the office we received $15 a day for seemless to order lunch-now that we are WFH for the foreseeable future, they have been providing us with the $15 a day in our monthly check, which they really don't have to do at all.
What makes you most happy at work?
That I am working for a company that actually cares about my mental well being- with everything going on in the world right now it has been a Godsend to be working for Better, especially a Black woman. I have been able to take personal days to just gather myself & take a mental break w/ short notice
