I was reluctant to leave my previous position, but am so happy with my decision to join Betterworks. I am newer here, but I can say that I enjoy the work I do on a daily basis and the direction the company is headed. It's an exciting time to work with such a talented and collaborative team.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They lead by example. Based on their actions, I understand my own expectations - whether it's work/life balance, or conscientious followup, caring and inclusion, etc.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I am paid fairly for the work I do, and am encouraged to take time off and prioritize life over work. I also REALLY appreciate having second Fridays off.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think BW is a good balance of work hard play hard. Everyone does great work at their job, but are also extraordinary individuals that are multi faceted and interesting, and genuinely good people.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is competent AND nice. I look around and everyone cares so much about their job and their customers. We have engaging debates, but also recognize that coworkers are people. This is a very well balanced workplace.
What makes you most happy at work?
Teamwork and collaboration. The people I work with on a daily basis are eager to jump in and help if I have questions, or if I need assistance with something. I always learn something by talking with different members of the team, and I feel gratitude and appreciation from them when I do my job.
