It has been a great journey at Birdeye and and hoping to fuel this rocket ship at an extremely fast pace by working hard, and at the same time enjoying this ride. Although there are understandable growing pains, it has been a thrill to see the growth the leadership team has gone through.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The inclusiveness and empowerment that is provided by senior leadership.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting the work done, and seeing the changes that this hypergrowth company is undergoing.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like how the leadership team is open to new ideas and always willing to listening to their employees. Although sometimes they may need to balance between different priorities, I know that the leadership team is taking feedback seriously.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I like how the interview process was straight to the point. I had the manager and department leader interview me at the same time. Much different from the multi stage processes I was used to. Received an offer the next week.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Although I appreciate the opportunities Birdeye has given me, I would have liked to see more competitive compensation when it comes to salary. Additionally, I would like to company to more pro-actively engage in discussions when it comes to upward career mobility.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I like the relationships that have been built within my direct team, and the fact that I can count on them to get things done. Additionally, I really appreciate the enthusiasm that I see in all of my team members when it comes to Birdeye, which is vastly different than teams in my previous roles.
