BJ's Restaurants Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The fact that I receive stock as part of my comp package.

Review from Operations Dept

Im not not enough hours

They've made it super easy to understand and access.

It makes a difference being offered amenities this company offers compared to others.

I have no complaints towards compensation.

Everything i enjoy it all

Review from Operations Dept

good time to be with co workers

The best part about my compensation package is the food discounts and the flexibility.

Review from Product Dept

There isn't a compensation package at all.

Review from Sales Dept

Don't have to file all of it under my taxes

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

100% undervalued. Intense workload for barely any pay, we need more hourly

If i was treated fairly. I have anxiety each time i go to work

Im not being treated fairly when i work abd come in everyday with a good attitude and would rather be paying someone else more then me n do one position only when i actually work at multiple stations and do more then for them and im the person always losing

The managers have zero respect for employees and arent ever around to do their iobs properly

I have been working with Bjs 5 years and they let people who kist started get better shifts. They also let certain servers do whatever they want.

Review from Customer Success Dept

For the work envioment I need more compansaion to put up with it

To be treated as an equal to be given a chance to prove that you're an asset to the company to make you the customers feel like they aren't rushed

I feel undervalued because I'm passed up on being promoted when I work hard, never miss days, work any shift and promote gold standard values.

A raise for learning mutiple positions

Servers are paid $2.13 and hour and that will never be enough to live off of. The customers would be frustrated because food would take 45 minutes to an hour to come out. That will always affect a servers pay check. We were always the ones to blame and never received any praise.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I wasn't properly trained nor did I feel like I had a voice. Many people have slipped and fallen because the kitchen isn't maintained to an acceptable or safe standard. Money isn't enough for the stress. No safety mats anywhere

I would like to advance to another cooking station within the restaurant.

Review from Product Dept

Extremely undervalued and overlooked but yet taken advantage of for their own personal benefit

I work at lot of hours just to get bullied by co workers

Review from HR Dept

I work longer hours than my managers and coworkers who get paid several more dollars an hour for less work. We have salaried managers leave halfway through their shifts on a consistent basis.

Review from Product Dept

I was paid less than the dishwashers when i knew 3 different positions

I just need my paystubs

Getting paid enough to live without needing another person for half the bills

Review from Customer Success Dept

Disrespect, unprofessionalism, underpaid, less hours then promised

Review from Sales Dept

There are no benefits even if you're working enough hours to be considered full-time. Waitstaff is expected to give away a majority of their tips to other employees and refuses to let you clock out until you've tipped a minimum of 2% of your sales to buss, bar, and SAs even if they didn't help you.
