Bloomin' Brands Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

paid time off meals vaction

benefits are good but after 1 yr

They offer the employee a chance to get some type of benefits

Review from Sales Dept

They offer the best health insurance

The money that we make from our customers. Nothing at all about Bloomin Brands helps the employees out. Our boss never appreciates his hard working team. He is in a bad mood daily and bullies people for small things. He wants you to feel less than. It definitely needs to be addressed.

I think it is fair and helpful.

I had vacation hours that expired and was never even told that part is disappointing to me

Review from Customer Success Dept

I like the health benefits.

Review from Sales Dept

Many perks for me and my family that include health, food, extra compensation, etc.

Review from Operations Dept

my health insurance and my vacation

Review from Operations Dept

The best part about benefits is the 401K match and HSA program

We have a fair bonus and long-term incentive program.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

If i was paid hourly.

if I was treated with respect and not constantly singled out

Review from Sales Dept

One of the three workers that actually work. I do more work than everyone else and treated like trash.

How could someone feel valued at all? Capitolism is made to serve only those who are already at the top. My future in life is quickly washing away with my inability to afford daily essentials. As a worker, ill never be valued. Money is the source to happiness, i just want to be happy in life.

The work load has definitely increased tremendously, but with very little if any increase in wage. This is true for both BOH, FOH, and management staff. After 16 years and still only making 13.50/hr as a certified BOH trainer, Event staff, and cook. I think the company undervalues everything.

only reason I got a raise is because my pay is about to be the new Florida minimum wage. requests to learn more have gone ignored. promises for more staff have gone unfulfilled for years

That is an understatement, yes I certainly do. I literally worked 4 Job Codes Last Night, Host, BUsser, Server Support & Dish. What would make it better? A Much Higher Hourly Rate IN South Carolina More Dependable Staff Members. Even More Dependable Management Staff. Better Sidework Charts.

Maybe dont trat the employees like trash

Been manager almost 5 years have not had a penny raise. I started with a ton of carrabas experience z

I would like to get my previous wage back and I also would like for our bartenders to be getting paid tipshare again. They pay out tipshare and also do not receive even though they are still making drinks.

Being given a fair share of 3rd party delivery revenue, work that the to go team currently does FOR 2.13/hr. Not being forced to work 10 hours for $60 before hourly.

Review from Sales Dept

Nothing would make me feel better I have already left the company

Review from Customer Success Dept

They are a terrible company with terrible ethics

Review from Customer Support Dept

I enjoy my responsibilities but diner enjoy the pay.

Review from Sales Dept

Overworked and underpaid, prep 1 guy needs to be looked at, bad attitude and does whatever he wants.

Review from Customer Support Dept

We come in, do our best to sell food, drinks, desserts; we push cocktails and coffees and at the end of the day we clean it all up. The company doesn't pay us ... the guests do but not before the company takes it share. taxes is what they essentially cover and scraps here and there It should be more

Review from Sales Dept

I do mainly five other employees workload on top of what I am already required to do. When I have a problem with other employees it is not taken seriously and the workplace has been hostile way more often than it should. The way managers speak to other staff members can be appalling at times.

Review from Sales Dept

I would like to see our lower staff compensated more. I do not think that servers should be responsible for paying the hosts. It is almost criminal when certain states only pay the minimum $2.13 an hour, for servers and hosts alike.
