Previously worked for PNC Bank. In 2010, our business line was sold to BNY Mellon. Since then we have been poorly treated. There have been quarterly layoffs for the most of those years.
What would you most like to see improved at your company?
How we as employees are treated.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Make us feel as if we are wanted. Current feeling is that we are expendable.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Have management understand that employees provide a great service and are crucial to the company.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
How to run a business properly. Unfortunately, executive management only cares about cutting expenses (employees) and offshoring jobs.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have a common goal in making sure our product meets clients needs. We have worked together for many years.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
We are under constant threat of layoffs. This started as soon as BNY bought out business from PNC Bank in 2010.
What do you like best about your company?
Good work/life balance. We are able to work from home two days per week. Recently, this was more relaxed where I was able to work from home five days per week. Still, with this change, having this ability is worthwhile (although scaled back).
