Injuries waiting to happen and no paid sick pay during a pandemic

What are some of the best things about your team?

Great nursing staff. Poor corporate policies.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Friendly care partners and housekeeping staff. Disorganized management.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Corporate policies that consider worker wellbeing - especially PTO policies.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Corporate policies that consider local environments and go beyond only the minimum protections required by law

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Maintain adequate staffing. Enough paid time off to endure one illness and one vacation per year; currently only 4 days combined. Organizational structure. Allow asymptomatic workers that may have been exposed to receive coronavirus test (paid by worker) without retaliation. More local control.
