My team is fantastic. They are the main reason I've stayed this long, but the company leadership is so bad, it actually seems like they are trying to get people to leave. Just so sad it makes it hard to retain our employees and policies make it nearly impossible to attract good people.

Cliquey, bigoted, gossipy behaviors undermine a team. Management should be aware of this kind of behavior and strive to create an atmosphere on exclusivity and not exclusivity. They have not.

The co workers are awesome just poor management.
Laughter would be the biggest improvement. Nobody laughs much and if they do someone is always listening to use it against you later if you say something even slightly colorful.
