Buffalo wild wings managers are RUDE, LAZY, & CARELESS. Most employees agreed (at the locations ive worked at) & the only reason we stay is for tips as servers. Buffalo wild wings needs to get their acts together & appreciate their staff for doing their jobs instead of being on their phones 24/7.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Nothing, management blames employees for their mistakes.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
food takes 40-50 minutes bc we're always backed up 20 pages. We only have 3-4 cooks a night & nothing gets done, we only have 3 servers a night & its stressful, we only have a bartender & a server in the bar.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My coworkers are nice & fun people but most of them cant handle the pressure of multiple tables. So they cry to management & somehow i end up taking more tables. Management doesnt care if servers are struggling, bar needs assistance, or if the kitchen is backed up 20 pages (its happened)
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They ALSO cook foods that THEY WANT just to hide in the office to EAT. Cashiers, cooks, servers, & bartenders STRUGGLE having to do anything. Ive had to take a 14 party & an 8 party AT ONCE. Ive had to take three 6 parties AT ONCE. No host = managers seating everyone anywhere no matter how busy
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Management needs a redo. They arent ready & dont do anything. They can leave whenever they want but god forbid when youre throwing up during work & you need to leave (its happened) they wont let you. Ive served, expo, & shook wings all at once TO HELP. Just to get cussed & yelled at by my manager.
