Unless you want to work where you feel like no one cares about their job or the product they put out, and the management is dead inside from constantly dealing with hiring children and adults who don't want to work normal, reasonable hours, I would never recommend this job to anyone. Ever.

PROVIDE A BETTER WAGE AND YOU WILL GET WORKERS THAT ARE WORTH MORE.

The fact that they will hire anyone because they are desperate and have such a problem with turnover.
What are some of the best things about your team?
There are some gems, but i repeat. Low wages bring in workers that are worth a low wage. That is not a good thing. Increase your standards.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Cutting the dead weight, remove the employees that continually don't follow procedure and demonstrate they are not team players. I think increasing pay for managers would bring in stronger talent to lead the stores. You get what you pay for. Low wages pay gets low wage workers.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a server or bartender I am the face of your company. I deal with every customer interaction and deliver both a service and a product, yet I am only paid minimum wage and forced to grovel to rude customers to earn a living wage. Consider bumping pay at least 20% up from your current standard.
