Mediocre. Employees get away with a lot and it's pretty easy work (as long as there's enough staff that day). The pay is meh, but the work isn't a big enough bother to risk going somewhere worse. I generally like the people I work with.

Personality differences, and a sense of humor

Low pressure. My managers are cool, good people.
What makes you most happy at work?
Making people happy by giving them food. Easy work on a good day.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was just a conversation between me and a manager, who was just a normal person.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Some people are very upbeat and positive, which drastically improves the day. We're also allowed to play music in the kitchen.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
With inflation and rising living costs, the pay they offer isn't enough. We're constantly short-staffed in the kitchen, for example, and I'm convinced we wouldn't be if we offered more.
