I love the rest of the team and LOVE BABW as a company, but our CWM does not exemplify the company's core values and is damaging morale the more time passes. We have lost many wonderful BBs due to her attitude and management style, and it is disheartening to see.
What makes you most happy at work?
Meeting guests and learning about their lives, what brings them in and how we can make a great moment/memory for them! Kids are always endearing and energetic.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our bear builders are kind, funny, good-hearted people who love the job and bring wonderful qualities. We are forever getting guest compliments about how sweet and helpful the team is!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The bear builders, AWM and sales leads are always taking care of one another, be it picking up a drink while on lunch for someone else, or just leaving AttaBears!
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was my first group interview, and I enjoyed that new experience. I also perform phone interviews as a sales lead, and I really enjoy that I'm trusted to vet future Bear Builders. It's fun getting to know new people and build my interviewing skills
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our CWM makes $10+ an hour more than any other employee, overworks her team, ignoring day off requests after approving them, ignoring weekly work hour limitations, and speaks to the team rudely. A leader that embodied BABW's core values would raise team moral and soothe other issues.
