Quit hiring management from the car business that think this will run like a car dealership.
Consistency. Listening to their long-term employees. Working on the things that matter and make the company money instead of micromanagement. Training the new people a little. Go back to caring about the customer. Change back to a team environment instead of a favorites club.
Cheaper insurance, it's not any cheaper than it is to go buy it on your own. The salespeople top out at 25% commission, all of out competitors start at 30%. But there are many things I would change before I got to the pay.
It has changed, 7 or 8 GMs ago we used to have a great team and I looked forward to going to work. We all helped each other and covered each other's customers. We helped train the new guys because the training is non-existent. Now there is very little of any of that.
