Getting raises is almost impossible no matter if you switch departments or how long you have been loyal to them. They dont use common sense. We are opened 7 days a wk, not allowed to have over time, but not allowed more than 2 cashiers at my location. Used to LOVE it here...

Some of the team members here are compassionate and helpful. We make birthdays special here.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love the flexibility of my schedule and the few employees we have. Also being pet friendly is the BEST!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There are a few employees that keep the positive vibe and try to spread it but then theres always something going on somewhere so the positive chain breaks.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The process has changed, I interviewed with 1 person and called him a few times until he hired me, now you interview with 4 people, some times on different days.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
When I moved positions from a receptionist to a bookkeeper in charge of ordering parts and payroll I did not get a raise, I did not get a raise for being a bookkeeper for a year and I did not get a raise for being with the company for 5, but yet they want to start giving me even more job duties.
