Camping World Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

Being able to mingle with employees and customers

Honesty, integrity, wiling to work with people!

Fair asked good questions and answers.

Honest, easy to understand, a lot of information

was very positive and gave me a great feeling of the position i was looking into for hiring.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I was told on the opportunity to grow company so I could use Messages as a manager, but never got the opportunity to really go to business as well as I would like because again no Servant leadership leadership

The false statements about oppurtunity to grow promote awarded for your experience

Quick and easy, friendly interaction

Manager at the time was amazing. Current manager is also great.

Very casual, much more like a conversation

I spoke with the general manager and the department supervisor.

Micheal Hooper is straight forward and honest

Review from Operations Dept

The process was more personable

I went in for one job and left with a job more suited to my experience. I was interviewed by the GM and he brought the department head in as soon as he understood my skillset.

The GM took time to get to know me and focused more on what I was looking for in a job, instead of what the job offered. There is a difference in those questions because then he can tell if my position is a fit, or if a different one would be better. Was smooth and easy

It was very casual andI felt at ease

Receptionist interview was nothing. It practically wasn't even an interview. The retail interview was very informative. I knew exactly what I was getting into

It doesnt really matter to me

The help getting thru and understanding everything insurance etc

It wasn't much of an interview I was pretty much hired on the spot apparently you need no experience necessary you could be a cook and get a job working on Camper's

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

They didn't seem to want to hire me later my boss at the time confessed she didn't want to hire me but they did it seems like it's always like that I've seen it happen

No training.. pour management .. techs work on family and friends.. have to be in the proper pack / group to be given work and hours very unfair.. not able to prove yourself as a good tech

Try actually interviewing the people and learning about them and what they want out of their career path. If I was told up front the plans you guys had and what procedural changes and other changes would be made along the way I'd never have stayed. I was promised something very diferent. Horrible.

Perhaps actually do an interview

Being able to qulify quility and trainability of staff.

Review from Sales Dept

Make the interviews more in depth and actually review who is being hired.

Line of questions change expectations set clear no intimidating

I would tell people not to work here

Not having to interview then being put off for months on end in order to get the job
